WAIVER WIRED........WEEK 8

By FANTASYBOYZ Editor in Chief Corey Bugenhagen

Its that time of the week again as fantasy owners are perusing their waiver wires looking for the answer to their lineup problems.  This weeks Waiver Wired has some decent options as injury and new opportunity has given the spotlight to some young up and coming players as well as some wily old veterans.

James Skelton - Owned in 2.4% of ESPN Leagues

With Kolb possibly out for the season Skelton could come in handy in a BYE week pinch as he has some weapons at his disposal

Worth a look in larger leagues

LaRod Stevens-Howling - Owned in 10.5% of ESPN Leagues

Stevens-Howling is suddenly a hot commodity as he went over the century mark against the Vikings.  Howling is a shifty runner that could prove useful down the line.

Should be owned in larger leagues

Add this guy before he is gone
Rashad Jennings - Owned in 13.7% of ESPN Leagues

What a difference a week makes as Jennings was sent to the waiver in many leagues Fantasy Wide.  Well time to pick him back up as he is the starter for the foreseeable future.

Should be owned in all leagues

Santana Moss - Owned in 24.9% of ESPN Leagues

The old veteran was back up to his old tricks with 2 TDs.  While he did had a fumble to lose the game it is clear RGIII is looking his way.

Should be owned in larger leagues

Titus Young - Owned in 51.2% of ESPN Leagues

Young has been a disappointment thus far but with Nate Burleson out for the season he will get increased targets.

Worth a look in larger leagues

Kevin Walter - Owned in 2% of ESPN Leagues

Walter is on a dominant offense and is getting his fair share of targets.  He is producing decent results with those targets.

Worth a look in larger leagues

Dustin Keller - Owned in 16.8% of ESPN Leagues

Keller is such an up and down player but he currently is in an upswing going over 90 yards and a TD in New England and is someone to keep an eye on.

WAIVER WIRED......WEEK 7

By FANTASYBOYZ Editor in Chief Corey Bugenhagen

So your fantasy lineup is decimated by not only injuries but stupid BYE weeks.  Below we help with that by giving you some legit options that may still be available for you in deeper leagues.  Don't hesitate make the necessary moves to field the best lineup you can each week.

Montario Hardesty - Owned in .4% of ESPN Leagues

Hardesty stepped into action Sunday when Trent Richardson left the game with a rib injury and filled in admirably.  While Richardson's injury doesn't seem serious Hardesty is someone to keep an eye on as he may be worked into the lineup a bit more in the upcoming weeks

Worth a look in larger leagues

Felix Jones - Owned in 51% of ESPN Leagues

Come on pick me up already
With Demarco Murray going down with a sprained foot Jones stepped in and went over 80 yards and a touchdown.  It appears Murray will be out week 7 and possibly beyond.  Jones will be a hot commodity fantasy wide

Should be owned in all leagues

Brandon Gibson - Owned in 25% of ESPN Leagues

One week into the Danny Amendola absence was a productive one for Gibson eclipsing 90 yards on 7 grabs.  Gibson should see similar production over the next 5 or 6 weeks as Amendola heals

Should be owned in larger leagues

Devone Bess - Owned in 9.7% of ESPN Leagues

Bess has quietly been putting together a very solid season in Miami.  While Brian Hartline has been grabbing all the headlines Bess is accumulating solid catch and yardage numbers

Should be owned in larger PPR leagues

Santana Moss - Owned in 10.4% of ESPN Leagues

While Moss is clearly no longer the player he once was he is still getting targets and producing decent results.  With Pierre Garcon's foot seemingly not getting any better Moss is a possible BYE week replacement that can get you through a tough week

Worth a look in larger leagues

Anthony Fasano - Owned in 2% of ESPN Leagues

Fasano is a solid player that will sneak an occasional TD.  With rookie Ryan Tannehill getting more comfortable Fasano will be worked into the game plan more and more

WAIVER WIRED.....WEEK 6

By FANTASYBOYZ Editor in Chief Corey Bugenhagen

OUR PICKUP OF THE WEEK
Unless you are in a 8 team league your waiver wire is getting pretty thin at this point.  With that being said there are always moves to make and players to grab off the scrap heap.  With some key injuries in Arizona and Tennessee there possible steals out there who could help you right away.  Please use the below list as a guide when perusing the waiver wire.  Our Pickup of the week happens to be William Powell.  WHO you may ask?  Well he is most likely the running back in Arizona who will carry the load for the foreseeable future with news that Ryan Williams is out for the season with surgery slated on his AC shoulder joint.

Ryan Tannehill - Owned in 5.4% of ESPN Leagues

While the young QB isn't exactly lighting things up yet we see the potential.  He has a strong arm and a quick release to go along with solid accuracy.  He is a guy that could be a solid backup down the stretch.

Worth a look in larger leagues

William Powell - Owned in .1% of ESPN Leagues

Our pickup of the week as Ryan Williams went down for the year and Beanie Wells is out until week 12.  Powell is easily first in line to be the feature back in Arizona for the near future.

Should be owned in all leagues

Jamie Harper - Owned in .1% of ESPN Leagues

With Javon Ringer likely out for the season and Chris Johnson playing horribly bad Harper is a sneaky add and could pay dividends down the line

Worth a look in Larger Leagues

Josh Gordon - Owned in .3% of ESPN Leagues

The talented Supplemental pick of the Browns received his first start last Sunday and produced with a long TD grab.  He could be just what strong armed Brandon Weeden needs to get a jump start on his season.

Should be owned in Larger Leagues

Devery Henderson - Owned in 1.7% of ESPN Leagues

Here comes Henderson yet again.  With Lance Moore and Jimmy Graham hindered by injuries Brees is looking back to his old stand by in Henderson.  With 8 grabs for 100+ yards and a TD Henderson should get increased targets at least for the short term

Should be owned in Larger Leagues

Domenik Hixon - Owned in 17.3% of ESPN Leagues

Hixon is now a starting wide receiver for the NY Giants until Hakeem Nicks returns from injury.  In the pass happy Giant offense you could do much worse than adding Hixon to your roster.

WAIVER WIRED..........

By FANTASYBOYZ Editor in Chief Corey Bugenhagen

Fantasy Football is an ever changing landscape.  What was garbage turns to gold.  What was unknown is now a hot commodity.  This week’s Waiver Wired report has some guys listed that are sure to be highly sought after, especially in larger leagues.  Make sure to get your claims in ASAP!!!!

Brandon Bolden - Owned in .3% of ESPN Leagues

GET THIS GUY RIGHT AWAY
Bolden burst onto the scene this week with over 130 yards on 16 carries and a TD.  While these #s will not be there every week, if at all this season, anyone with a weak backfield should be putting in a claim.  The Pats offense is explosive and TDs will be plentiful

Should be owned in all leagues
Jackie Battle - Owned in 9% of ESPN Leagues

Battle has somehow creped his way into the San Diego backfield mix.  He didn't accumulate a lot of yards but did get 2 big TDs last Sunday.  While Ryan Mathews will soon retake control here you could do worse that Battle

Should be owned in larger leagues

Brian Hartline - Owned in 26% of ESPN Leagues

Hartline exploded Sunday with 200+ yards receiving and a TD.  Since it appears he is the go to man in the Dolphins passing game we recommend adding him right away.  He is already a borderline Flex play

Should be owned in all leagues

Donald Jones - Owned in .8% of ESPN Leagues

With a 68 yard TD Sunday Jones showed he has the ability to take it to the house.  With the Bills passing the ball quite often and David Nelson out for the year, Jones is worth a look

Worth a look in larger leagues

Scott Chandler - Owned in 32% of ESPN Leagues

Chandler is a TD machine so far this year with 4 in 4 games.  While he won't get 16 TDs this season 8 to 10 are not out of the question.

WAIVER WIRED.....

By FANTASYBOYZ Editor in Chief Corey Bugenhagen

With Week 2 coming to a close a fantasy owners attention must quickly switch to the waiver wire.  Well the pickings are pretty slim this week.  We decided to scrape the bottom of the barrel to find a few real gems that can help your lineup now and later.  The highest percentage owned on our list is Heath Miller at 23.6% ownership in ESPN leagues.

QUARTERBACK:

Brandon Weeden - Owned in 2.1% of ESPN Leagues

What a difference a week makes for the old rookie.  He looked poised and accurate throwing for 322 yards and 2 TDs against Cincinnati.  Even better was the fact that he threw 0 INTs.

Worth a look in larger leagues

RUNNING BACK
What can Brown do for you?

Andre Brown  - Owned in .8% of ESPN Leagues

When Ahmad Bradshaw went down with a neck injury the Giants did not turn to the young 1st rounder David Wilson but to Brown.  With Bradshaw looking unlikely to play you might be able to pick up a starting running back of the wire.

Should be owned in all leagues

Jackie Battle - Owned in .3% of ESPN Leagues

With Ronnie Brown shitting the bed in week 1 and Curtis Brinkley ineffective the Super Chargers turned to Battle and he produced to the tune of 69 yards and 2 TDs.  While Mathews should be back this week Battle is someone to cuff to the oft injured running back.

Should be owned by Mathews owners

WIDE RECEIVERS

Brandon Gibson - Owned in .4% of ESPN Leagues

Gibson is really showing that he and Bradford are on the same page.  With Gibson getting over 50 yards and a TD in his first 2 games he is someone to keep an eye on.

Worth a look in larger leagues

Donnie Avery - Owned in .7% of ESPN Leagues

Avery lead the Colts with 11 targets Sunday.  That is a huge # and it paid off with Avery going over 100 yards.  Luck could look his way often the rest of the year with Collie in and out of the lineup

Worth a look in larger leagues

Harry Douglas - Owned in 2.1% of ESPN Leagues

Douglas has shown to be an important part of the Falcons offense.  While he won't bust out for big totals every week he is certainly a guy you could start in the flex position if the matchup is right.

Bye week replacement in larger leagues

TIGHT END

Brandon Myers - Owned in  .1% of ESPN Leagues

Myers is a guy you probably have never heard of before.  I know we hadn't until we took a look at Oaklands final depth chart but he has produced big time in weeks 1 and 2 with 150 yards and 11 grabs.  He could be a real diamond in the rough.

Should be owned in larger leagues

Heath Miller - Owned in 23.6% of ESPN Leagues

Miller is a guy who every year is a guy on the waiver wire for the first couple weeks but he always is picked up pretty quickly.  Aaron Hernandez owners could do worse with starting Miller for a couple weeks.

Should be owned in larger leagues.
